Lead in Antiques and Christmas Lights

This is a little scene we cut from our documentary film MisLEAD: America’s Secret Epidemic.

At the end – you will have questions… mostly “Where can I buy lead-free Christmas lights?”  – a link to help you in that inquiry is below the video link!

Thanks for watching and sharing!

Looking for lead-free holiday lighting?  Check out these links to start (and also look for “Prop 65 compliant” lighting.)

Thank you so much for this post. Ugh. To think everyone takes holiday photos with their kids holding/playing with the lights now…

Do you know if ikea lights are lead free? They claim to be RoHS-Compliant which is the EU standard. I am hoping to be able to pick them up in-store rather than have to order them.
