While the Lead Safe America Foundation is a 501(c)3 nonprofit and very much a “collaborative effort” – with more than 800 supporters in our first three years – it is also a personal crusade. I have been working as a full-time volunteer for more than three years to bring LSAF to where it is now – and I would definitely not have been able to do it without all of you!
I would like to take a moment to thank a special group of supporters of my work (and supporters of our mission.) On Facebook I belong to a “secret society” of women environmental bloggers. The group goes by the name Women Eco-Warriors and there are currently 145 members – women with a passion for the environment all over the globe.
These women have shared my posts, answered my questions, supported our work with in-kind and financial contributions, and just plain “been there for me” throughout all my ups and downs of getting Lead Safe America Foundation off the ground, and I am forever grateful for their support.
I asked them to share some of their work with me, so I could share it with you and you could get to know them a bit too, so please check out the following links and consider sharing them on Facebook and Twitter – supporting them in their work in the way they have supported me (and LSAF!)
Thank you for clicking!
