Testing Party At EcoHealth

Ecohealth Wellness Center & Detox Spa is hosting a FREE testing event at their new facility on April 22, 2014 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.  This event is free and open to the public.  It’s a pot-luck, so please bring something to eat or drink to share.

Tamara Rubin, Executive Director of the Lead Safe America Foundation (based in Portland, OR) will be in town (Charleston, SC) testing your things for toxins.

Bring an item or two to be tested – for free – and she will instantly (results in as little as 30 seconds) be able to tell you if it contains lead, mercury, cadmium or arsenic (you might be surprised). She’ll also be able to confirm the actual percentage of gold, silver, or platinum that mysterious piece of jewelry contains.

Lead Safe America Foundation is a 501(c)3 advocacy organization committed to protecting children everywhere from environmental toxicity.

  • everyday dishes,
  • grandma’s china,
