Please come (and invite your friends to come) to a Special Engagement Preview Screening of the upcoming documentary film on childhood lead poisoning: MisLEAD: America’s Secret Epidemic (an outreach project of the Lead Safe America Foundation) in Flint, Michigan on Monday, January 25, 2016 at 7 p.m. at the Flint Institute of Arts http://www.flintarts.org/. The event is FREE and open to the public. Doors open at 6:45. The first 100 to arrive will get a free lead-paint test kit to test the paint in their homes. The screening of the film will be followed by a post-screening discussion with Tamara Rubin (the film’s Director and founder and Executive Director of LSAF), other mothers of lead poisoned children and experts on the subject of childhood lead poisoning. We look forward to speaking with the residents of Flint about their children’s future – giving them hope and hands on practical tips and solutions from parents who have been grappling with this issue first hand for years. Thank you for spreading the word/ sharing about this event. Click the image of the flyer below for a larger (full size) printable PDF of the flyer.
