In the spirit of the national lottery fever tonight [$900 Million seems to induce a whole lot of otherwise reasonably level-heading folks to engage in rather fantastic speculation (I will absolutely not divulge whether or not I myself bought 10 Powerball tickets 10 minutes before tonight’s drawing)!], we invite you to guess how much lead we found in this Franciscan Rose sugar bowl using our XRF.
Just like on “The Price Is Right”, the person who comes closest (in parts per million) – without going over – will win a prize of a set of fabulous, lead-free dishes from Ikea (or similar lead-free set, depending on availability)! – a set of four place settings! – apprx. value: $20)
We will take your guesses through the Powerball drawing time tonight (at 10:59 EST), after which time we will post the XRF results here and announce the winner. You can post your guess either here in the comments or on our facebook post about this on the film’s page in the comments… #GO!
