Leaded Cafes

This will be a photo essay that I update in my travels.  It is going to include photos of peeling lead-painted building components being used as decorative elements in cafes and restaurants and other public spaces around the country.  I welcome your submissions as well!  Thank you.

Wow! That looks like so many doors I see still in use here in new orleans. The paint on the bathroom door at Gymnastics is peeling so badly that I cringe whenever I see a child push it open. At least they wash their hands while they’re in there … (hopefully.)

Right, Andrea! I know! Do you want me to send you a bunch of lead-test kits to use in your walk-abouts? Let me know and I will be happy to do so… you have my e-mail 😉
