Have you ever wondered whether that toy, shiny bauble or antique dish was safe for you or your child?
FREE testing event ! Nike World HQ, Thursday May, 22, 2014 from 10-12 (Cafe 19) and 12:30 to 2:30 (Cafe LA).
Tamara Rubin, Executive Director of the Lead Safe America Foundation (based in Portland, OR – in the WestMoreland neighborhood) will be on-site testing your things for toxins.
Bring an item or two to be tested – for free – and she will instantly (results in as little as 30 seconds) be able to tell you if it contains lead, mercury, cadmium or arsenic (you might be surprised). She’ll also be able to confirm the actual percentage of gold, silver, or platinum that mysterious piece of jewelry contains.
Lead Safe America Foundation is a 501(c)3 advocacy organization committed to protecting children everywhere from environmental toxicity. www.LeadSafeAmerica.org
