In addition to providing parent-advocates with free websites and with 3M LeadCheck lead-paint test kits to distribute at community events, we provide other materials to help them with their work helping other families.
Current available materials include:
Simple Solutions Cards: A business card size info-card with simple solutions parents should know to protect their children from lead in their homes and environment.
Lead Safe America Buttons: These buttons (badges/ pins) are our answer to the pink ribbon that was developed to create awareness for breast cancer. Without a symbol for lead poisoning prevention we have not had unity for the cause. Now we do. Parent advocates have helped us distribute more than 25,000 Lead Safe America buttons since we announced our founding at the National Healthy Homes Conference in Denver in June of 2011.
To get a box of buttons and cards to share in their communities (to share with friends and families or at local community outreach events) parents just need to send us an e-mail requesting them: firstname.lastname@example.org
Please check back here periodically and we will post more information and links to additional downloadable PDFs of posters, cards and brochures as soon as they are available.
